Anbetungszeit …

Anbetung spielt eine wichtige Rolle in der Gemeinde. Junge und blühende Gemeinden haben alle ihre Anbetungs-Bands und ihre Zeiten der Anbetung als wichtigen und integralen Teil ihrer Gottesdienste. Das ist wichtig. Auf der anderen Seite ist Anbetung kein magisches Werkzeug. Sie ist nicht etwas, das wir nur allein nutzen könnten, um in Gottes Gegenwart zu gelangen. Lobpreis allein wird leer sein und ist in der Gefahr, ein Werkzeug zur Manipulation zu werden.

Lass uns im 2. Buch der Könige lesen, wo es um das Hören von Musik geht und um die Gegenwart Gottes. Es ist sehr interessant und voller Einsicht:

13 Doch Elisa war abweisend: “Warum kommst du denn zu mir, König von Israel? Ich habe nichts mit dir zu schaffen! Geh doch zu den Propheten, die dein Vater und deine Mutter angeheuert haben!” Joram erwiderte: “Meine Propheten können nichts dafür. In diese Falle hat uns der Herr gelockt, um uns dem König von Moab auszuliefern.” 14 Da lenkte Elisa ein: “Nur weil auch König Joschafat von Juda hier ist, gebe ich dir eine Antwort. Wäre er nicht da, würde ich dich nicht einmal ansehen, geschweige denn irgendetwas für dich tun! Das schwöre ich bei dem Herrn, dem allmächtigen Gott, dem ich diene. 15 Und nun holt einen Mann, der Harfe spielen kann!” Während der Musiker spielte, sprach der Herr zu Elisa und gab ihm eine Botschaft für die Könige. Elisa rief: 16 “Hört, was der Herr euch befiehlt: 'Hebt in diesem trockenen Tal überall Gruben aus. 17 Es wird zwar kein Wind aufkommen, und es wird auch nicht regnen, aber trotzdem wird dieses Tal sich mit Wasser füllen. Dann könnt ihr alle genug trinken, auch eure Pferde und das Vieh.' (2. Könige 3, 13-17)

Was hier wichtig ist …

Lass uns sehen, was hier geschieht in dieser kleinen Geschichte mit großen Konsequenzen. Sie ähnelt ähnlichen Ereignissen im Neuen Testament, wo Jesus selbst involviert ist. Der König kommt und möchte Rat von Elisha, dem Propheten des Herrn. Elisha schickt ihn fort, aber der König möchte nicht fortgehen. Das ist sehr wichtig - er sucht Rat von dem wahren Gott! Er ist nicht damit zufrieden, sein Leben fortzusetzen mit Gott nur auf einer Seitenlinie! Er erkennt, dass er bei Elisha an der richtigen Adresse ist.

Dann ist der zweite Schritt bemerkenswert. Statt direkt Rat zu geben holt Elisha einen Musiker. Er hört zuerst auf die Musik. Nur nach dieser Zeit der Anbetung und des Wartens, der Zeit, in die Gegenwart des Herrn zu gehen, gibt es Rat. Es wird hier gesagt, dass der Geist des Hern über ihn kam, und dann spricht er die Worte, die prophetisch sind, gibt Richtung und Rat für den König.

Wir sollten die Rolle der Musik nicht zu leicht nehmen. Aber wir sollten auch nicht übersehen, was hier vorher geschieht, sollten den Glauben des Königs sehen ebenso wie den Glauben und die Berufung von Elisha. Es muss alles zusammen kommen, und dann ist da eine offene Tür für den Herrn, zu sprechen, und zu segnen und Wasser auszugießen mitten in der Wüste!
